March 20, 2024 — Recently, Cane Bay Cares had the privilege of supporting both the St. Croix District and Virgin Islands’ Territorial Spelling Bees, events that celebrate the linguistic talents of our youth.

It warmed our hearts to learn that our contribution supported the Virgin Islands Department of Education in purchasing prizes, gifts, and other tokens to make this year’s spelling bee events unforgettable experiences for the participating children.

Prizes and gifts included computers, tablets, Bluetooth earbuds, trophies, medals, and other paraphernalia.

We were deeply honored to receive a certificate of appreciation from VIDE for our involvement in the Bees. This acknowledgment goes a long way in affirming our commitment to making a positive impact in education within our community.

At Cane Bay Cares, we understand the importance of nurturing the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and innovators. By investing in education and supporting events like the Spelling Bee, we hope to send a strong message to our youth: You are necessary; you are valued; and we’re rooting for you to reach your full potential.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to VIDE for their partnership and to all the spellers, teachers, and families who participated. Together, we’re bolstering platforms that foster learning and growth for the young people in our community.

A special congratulations to 2024 Territorial Spelling Bee winner Joseph Greaux, an eighth grader at Eulalie Rivera School.
