July 14, 2021 – In this video, Kirk Chewning discusses the important role that USVI educators play in economic and workforce development during an instructor orientation for the Operation Inspire Afterschool Program.
Chewning is a founding partner of the USVI-based fintech consulting firm Cane Bay Partners, parent company to Cane Bay Cares. Operation Inspire is Cares’ flagship program designed to help USVI students develop 21st century skills through project-based learning.
All our instructors are professional teachers and paraeducators from the V.I. Department of Education, and our junior instructors are students from the University of the Virgin Islands. We offer support and professional development training for the entire OI team.
